MISSION

  • To collaborate and form academic and clinical partnership with nurses to disseminate evidence based education and knowledge in relation to Familial Hypercholesterolaemia (FH).
  • To facilitate partnerships with nurses, patients and other expert health professionals to increase awareness of this potentially deadly genetic lipid disorder and enable cascade screening.
  • To improve the FH patient’s continuum of care pathway through cost effective service delivery and precision medicine in the primary care setting.
  • To apply the methods and techniques for cholesterol management in FH to all patients who have difficulty with Lipid control.
  • To share knowledge about setting up and operating Lipid Clinics so they can proliferate and serve the community.
